The Newell Post Catering ~ Terms & Conditions
Please read these guidelines in order for us to best serve you.
A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. This is a non-refundable deposit to reserve the date for the event.
2. Final Payment
The final payment is due one week prior to the event date.
3. Guest Count
A final guest count must be made ten days prior to the event date. Should it be necessary to increase your guest count with the last seven days, every effort will be made accommodate your request. A decrease in guest count will not affect your original contract price.
4. Payment and Taxes
Payment is accepted in the form of cash, check, Master Card, Visa, or Discover. A 9% New Hampshire State Rooms & Meals Tax will be added to all events.
Pricing is subject to change prior to the event based on food price increases. If drastic price changes within your menu items we have two options:
- Determine a new cost based on current market prices of the menu
- Substitute menu items in order for you to maintain the agreed upon per person price
6. Cancellation by Client
If a client cancels an event prior to the contracted date, all prepayments and deposits are forfeited by the client. If the client cancels, Newell Post Catering will apply prepayments and deposits to another event within 90 days of the original event date, if dates are available. All costs are subject to change.
7. Cancellation by Newell Post Catering
Although highly unlikely, should Newell Post Catering need to cancel an event booked by the client, Newell Post Catering will return the deposit in full to the client within 10 days of cancellation.
8. Responsibility for Damage
Newell Post Catering assumes no responsibility for any damage or loss to equipment or items used during the event. Any breakage or damage that may occur will be considered accidental, unless the damage was caused by the negligence of Newell Post Catering or their employees.
9. Third Party Services
Should third parties be hired to provide services, Newell Post Catering assumes no responsibility for the actions of them or their employees.
10. Plastic-ware and Stemware
Prices quoted are for high quality plastic ware or paper only.
Number of servers, chefs, setup and clean up times determined and quoted upon final order.
12. Delivery Charges
Delivery within 20 miles is included in price. If the event is further than 20 miles, a travel charge will be added.
13. Incidentals, Other Party Services
Tents, Tables, Chairs, Linens, China, DJ, or Bartender are not provided. We can refer you to rental sites and an onside bartender if needed. Tables for our catering will need to be provided.
You are welcome to your leftovers as long as you provide your own containers.
